Game rules
Poker is a card game in which players compete to obtain the best hand possible. The game was first played with a deck of twenty cards, but there are many variations, including Texas Hold’em and draw poker. The basic rules of poker are the same across these games. All players have a certain number of chips that are collectively referred to as the pot. The winner is determined by the amount of chips remaining in the pot at the end of each round.

The trick is to get these three cards on the turn and river. However, this strategy is only viable if you have a significant statistical edge. Nut-low
Nut-low poker is a type of poker where the lowest possible hand is considered to be the nut. In games that use a high-low split, the nut low hand is the wheel straight, which is A-2,3-4-5, and in deuce-to-seven lowball, the nut low hand is a two to four-card hand.
Offsuit
Offsuit when playing poker is when a player plays cards from a different suit than their hole cards. Typically, an offsuit hand will be weaker than a hand with the same suit as the hole cards. Common offsuit starting hands include Ace-Five (Ace of Spades) and Ace-King (Ace of Clubs).
Squeeze
The squeeze is a special move in poker that’s used by players in both tournaments and cash games. Most players will face the squeeze move at some point in their poker career. Squeeze plays are essentially a three-bet preflop against two or more opponents. In a squeeze, the player in early position raises their preflop bet, and the player in later position calls it. Then, the player in the big blind re-raises. In poker, this move is considered to be equal to an all-in, but the success is not dependent on the player’s cards.
