Beasley Estate Vineyard
Virgil & Carol Beasley have been farming since 1999 which is when they planted their three acre Zinfandel vineyard in the Dry Creek Appellation. They began as organic growers; and then switched to Biodynamic farming in 2006, after Carol took a course at the Santa Rosa Jr. College.
Biodynamic farming techniques were developed in the 1920’s by Rudolph Steiner. It is a form of organic farming that takes both the farmer and the farm into consideration with the addition of holistic practice. This includes a composting regimen, specific field sprays for the soil, and above ground field sprays for the health of the plant tissue. The biodynamic twist adds a homeopathic element to the whole process.
The Beasley’s are passionate about “creating the healthiest soil possible” in which to grow their grapes. With this intention, and hard work, they capture the unique terroir of their vineyard and allow Antoine Favero, the winemaker at Mazzocco Winery (where they sell their grapes), to create magic in each bottle and glass!

We had such a lovely and relaxing stay–our third time at the Grape Escape! Thanks for your hospitality and the superb accommodations, plus all the little touches that mean so much. Loved the watermelon from Carol’s garden and Virgil’s barrel tasting of his own wine. What a treat! We look forward to seeing you again next year.

Portland, Oregon” type=”full-width”]Dear Carol & Virgil,
Our family spend 3 wonderful days at this home nestled amidst a vineyard in Sonoma County. We had such a great stay that we have vowed to return again next year. Close to Healdsburg, it is an ideal spot for just relaxing and reconnecting. We loved the large porch for evening wine tasting. As a bonus, this location is close to restaurants, wineries and a gourmet grocery. We highly recommend this property.[/blockquote]
